One on One training with Calvin Kehoe
As an A5 alum, Calvin Kehoe is a byproduct of A5 volleyball.
Since 14, Calvin has competed and trained for A5 boys volleyball. After playing club for four years, he received a scholarship to play at Erskine College in Due West, SC.
In 2016, Calvin Kehoe had his first start as a coach at A5 as the assistant for the 16-1’s under head coach Gabe Aramian. Calvin continued to work under Gabe Aramian for three years, winning numerous qualifiers and two national championship medals in the open division.
Shortly after his coaching stint with Gabe, Calvin spent a year coaching Helen on the 14-1’s. After coaching at A5, Calvin looked to grow in his coaching experiences by leaping into the college coaching world at Mississippi State University in the Southeastern Conference. At MSU, Calvin was a Volunteer Assistant, and during his time, he assisted the offensive and defensive coordinators. Also, Calvin was mentored by 2021 SEC Coach of the Year, Julie Darty.
In 2022, Calvin accepted a position as one of the Directors of 575 Lakepoint. While there, he was the master coach of 26 teams and ran all volleyball operations. He coached two teams. One of his teams finished 20th at AAUS in the 16 classic division. Calvin also coached numerous Setters, Liberos, and pins, such as Riley Fischer (Flordia), Mia Standaer (Louisville), Anna McDonald (Wisconsin), Lauryn Burrows (FSU), Gabby Gonzales (Ohio State), Alexa Fortin (UGA), Lauren Harrison (Baylor), and Emily Hodson (Wofford).
